The 2008 breeding season had seen the start of many of our long term projects as a good number of our snakes, the females in particular, reached maturety. There were also a handful of breeding trials that we carried out in order to prove out the genetics of several older critters and the results will be posted once the eggs have hatched. Details of the planned breedings have been added to the individual clutch pages and highlighted in the chart below.

A few of our pairings for this year were changed due to some unexpected gender mis-identification of a few of our earlier purchases. We also saw a number of our breeders turn out to be carrying hidden hets that came into play in several clutches - though for the most part it was not completely unexpected to the how common those particluar genes are.
