Hello and welcome to T and J's, if this is your first visit we hope you'll spend a few minutes browsing through our site. For those of you, who have stopped by before, welcome back! We hope you enjoy your latest visit and hope you'll take the time to view some of the latest updates that are listed below.

On behalf of T and J's we'd like to thank you for stopping by our site.

THE LATEST NEWS:

May has arrived with a bit of a bang this year, as our first female dropped a beautiful clutch of 16 fertile eggs on the fourth. Riverstone, one of the first pairings that hooked up, began laying her eggs in the early morning and dropped her last one just around four in the afternoon. The poor girl looks a little limp and deflated, but quite healthy as she grabbed a long drink before curling back up for a well deserved snooze in her former laybox.

Several other females have had their prelay shed and are looking pretty plump with eggs. We're expecting at least four more females to lay before the end of the month.

SITE UPDATES:

Thing have slowed down on the web front here at T and J's over the last month or so, but we have been fairly busy on the snake front; selling off stock, monitoring our gravid females, checking on the incubator conditions for the clutches we have, and all of the other day to day maintenance involved in the keeping and breeding of cornsnakes. I still managed to sneak in a few updates here and there, but nothing fancy or complex. Below you will find a list of the handful of the updates that have been done or that are in the process of being done. If at any time, you are unable to view any of the updates listed below - try reloading the page you are viewing or clearing out your browser cache, cookies, or history.

UPDATES as of 05/04/08:

  • Projects Page - All of our planned pairings, and a couple unplanned pairings, have been successfully hooked up for the year and the projects page has been updated to reflect each prospective clutch.
  • Individual Clutch Pages - The pages for the final few pairings have been updated and uploaded, complete with dates and pictures (where applicable). We have also added pictures of River's clutch on her page and updated the information on all of the other pairings.
  • Expected Page - Our expected page has been updated with the total number of eggs for the clutches laid and the projected hatch date of those clutches.

PREVIOUS UPDATES:

  • Projects Page - We have had several more successful pairings over the last week or so and new pictures, dates, and pairings have been listed up on our projects page for this year. Individual clutch pages with detailed information have also been updated and added where appropriate.
  • Gallery - The new additions have been named and sorted into their proper galleries, and their individual snake pages have been uploaded. Photos, for those who don't yet have them, will be added as we take them.
  • Available Page - The Available page has been updated with a current list of our available snakes. More will be made available as we review our future projects and weed out those snakes that we no longer plan to breed. We will also be letting some of our 2007 keepers go as we attempt to cut back our numbers to make room for this years prospective keepers.

PLANNED UPDATES:

  • Photo Gallery - Our galleries are constantly under going updates as we strive to put together a decent collection of photographs for each of our individual snakes. This not only involves digging through three years worth of older images but also taking newer, clearer pictures of each snake periodically. The number of snakes in our collection constantly changes due to sales and purchases, so frequent reshuffling of the galleries is required in order to keep them accurate.
