Hello and welcome to T and J's, if this is your first visit we hope you'll spend a few minutes browsing through our site. For those of you, who have stopped by before, welcome back! We hope you enjoy your latest visit and hope you'll take the time to view some of the latest updates that are listed below.

On behalf of T and J's we'd like to thank you for stopping by our site.

THE LATEST NEWS:

The 2008 Breeding and Hatching season here at T and J's is finally over. All of this year's clutches have finally finished hatching, giving us a considerable number of hungry mouths to feed. We had Amel and Anery hets pop up in several clutches, presenting us with a few cool morphs that we hadn't really anticipated getting out of this year's eggs - including an Avalanche (Snow Bloodred), Snowcicle (Snow Creamcicle), Snow Stripes (Cubed), and several Amels, and regular snows.

Hatchlings from this year's clutches will be made available after they have eaten at least three consecutive meals, but preferably five. This is to insure that each hatchling is readily feeding and growing before leaving our care. If you are interested in obtaining a hatchling from a particular clutch, and you have not seen any information regarding the availability of those animals, please feel free to contact us with the clutch number(s) in question.

SITE UPDATES:

It is nearly time for another round of site-wide updates as we clean up broken links, and contradicting information. We will also be purging the data base of unused pictures and pages in order to free up some space. This will all be in addition to the normal monthly updates of photo galleries and seasonal information. Below you will find a list of the handful of the updates that have been done or that are in the process of being done. If at any time, you are unable to view any of the updates listed below - try reloading the page you are viewing or clearing out your browser cache, cookies, or history.

UPDATES as of 09-02-08:

  • Clutch Pages - New photos have been added to the individual clutch pages, pics of several of the hatchlings on a number of the hatchling pages that are linked to the detailed information regarding each clutch. I've also added a few select photos to the clutches pages and udated those pages with more information regarding the offspring (and their gentetic) of each clutch.
  • Gallery - The last of the pipping pictures have been added to the gallery, and more hatchling photos can be expected to be added shortly after the Anaheim Show on the weekend of 9-6 through 9-7. I have also added a few thumbnails to the sub gallery pages for a handful of the keepers we have picked out from this year's clutches.
  • New Section to be Added - After recieving several e-mails asking for more information about certain terms used throughout the site or asking for clarification on some of the trade names for morphs that we have listed in the gallery, I have decided to put together a glossary to help those who are not as familiar with these terms. I have compiled a fairly large list of terms, Trade names, and abstract sayings - though it is far from a complete list at this time. Once I've added a few more definitions, I will be uploading the Glossary to the site. Once it has been added, I will be updating it frequently to try and keep it current as new morphs, trade names, and other terms crop up as they tend to do in this hobby.

PREVIOUS UPDATES:

  • Available Page - Two new adults have been added up for sale, both are rescue snakes that have undergone rehab with us for the past year. They are still slightly underweight, but otherwise perfectly healthy.
  • Expected Page - Our expected page has been updated with the latest information about the last handful of clutches that just recently hatched out.
  • Gallery - The last of the pipping photos have been added to the gallery in addition to a small handful of hatchling photos. More hatchling photos can be expected as each clutch sheds for the first time and individual pictures are taken.
  • Links Page - I have updated our links page, adding several new breeder sites and a few reference sites. I have also removed several link due to inactive or broken addresses. If the link to your site has been removed, and you have an updated link, please send us an e-mail so we can add your site back to the list with the correct web address.
  • Projects Page - Detailed information regarding the last of this year's clutches to hatch out, have been added to our 2008 Projects page.

FUTURE UPDATES:

  • Site Wide - Once again, we'll be going through the entire site and cleaning up spelling mistakes, coding errors, broken links, and outdated information. This will include a purge of unused pictures and web pages from the data base as well as a few minor layout changes.
  • Photo Gallery - Our galleries are constantly under going updates as we strive to put together a decent collection of photographs for each of our individual snakes. This not only involves digging through three years worth of older images but also taking newer, clearer pictures of each snake periodically. The number of snakes in our collection constantly changes due to sales and purchases, so frequent reshuffling of the galleries is required in order to keep them accurate.
