Ivory is something of a celebrity as she is the snake formerly known as Piss. She's a proven snow known to throw out an occassional Reverse Okeetee in her clutches the most noted one is Mesquite - an Ultramel Reverse Okeetee that was from last year's clutch at the home of a fellow breeder. We had originally intended to pair ivory with Sandstone in the hopes of getting some Reverse okeetees, unfortunately, Sandstone has refused to cooperate and we decided to pair Ivory up with a different male to avoid having her slug out this year.

We hope that between this pairing of Shale with Ivory, and the pairing of Shale to Beryl, to determine whether Shale is an Ultra Anery or an Ultramel Anery. This pairing has been confirmed for the 2008 breeding season, first hook-up occured on 03-19-08 and again on 03-26-08. We paired them up twice to increase the likelihood of a fertile clutch.

Ivory laid 12 big and beautiful eggs on 05-19-08 and they were expected to hatch around 07-23-08. Actual hatching didn't start until 08-10-08, day 82, and the first nose out was that of an Ultramel Anery. All of the eggs pipped/hatched by 08-17-08, with one hatchling D.I.E and one that died shortly after emerging from the egg.
