Breccia and Zircon are a beautiful pair of Hypos het Lavender that we picked up from CCCorns a while back. They have both grown wonderfully through the years and have pleasant dispositions. We're hoping to end up with a small handful of Hypo Lavenders from this pairing this year in order to prove them both out. We do have a lavender male, that is possibly het hypo that we could use to prove Breccia out - however he is out on a breeding loan this year.

This pairing has now been confirmed for the 2008 breeding season, hook-up occured on 03-09-08. We had originally hoped to hook this pair up twice to increase the likelihood of a fertile clutch, however, we were only successful the one time. Breccia laid 17 beautiful, and large, eggs on 05-18-08. She's looking a little thin and tired, but is doing just fine. Eggs were due to hatch around 07-22-08.

Breccia's eggs finally started pipping on 08-08-08, the first nose out appears to be a hypo, but we'll know for certain once it actually leaves the egg.

Thank you,
