Our second pairing of the 2007 breeding season is of Charcoal, our 2004 ghost female, and a male Lavender that we have on loan from Tim and Rina (Rockmonkey & xXMetalsAngelXx). This will be Charcoal's first time breeding, and we are hoping to confirm that she is Anerythristic A.

Charcoal began laying her eggs on the morning of 05/11/07 and finished up around 4PM dropping a total of 16 good eggs. She appears to have weathered her first clutch much better then Pearl did on her second and has even accepted two small meals since dropping her eggs. Now begins the long wait while the eggs incubate.

Charcoal laid a second clutch of 10 eggs on 7/18/07, 7 of which appear to be viable eggs. The poor girl looks a tad bit deflated, but has otherwise weathered her second clutch well. As of 09/06/07 all seven of the eggs in Charcoal's second clutch have gone bad.

We lost 5 of the 16 eggs during incubation, the rest began hatching on day 71, 07/21/07.
